STRUGGLING WITH TOO MUCH HOMEWORK?

Teachers these days give students a lot of homework to evaluate their performances and also understand their progress in class however too much homework can create a stress among the children which can have negative impacts on them like stress, loss of appetite, irritation, fights with their parents and many more. If you are struggling with too much stress because of homework then you should follow these simple steps which can help in reducing your pressure.

I. Make a schedule

Always try to make a schedule so that you finish the homework within that time and have extra time for your leisure activities like playing or watching movies which will help in maintaining a balance in your life and make you stress free.

II. Time management

You should properly manage time and do your homework as the schedule you have created. You need to maintain the time and divide the work as per the time to finish your homework. Meanwhile you need to keep the distractions away during this time like tablets, cell phones and television so that your concentration gets deviated.

III. Start the homework early

As soon as you come back home, take some rest and then start doing your homework so that you do not have to do the homework till late at night. When out find something difficult then take the help of your parents or else browse online and get a clear understanding & help with homework from the online websites.

IV. Ask questions

If you don’t understand anything while doing your homework, then make a list of things that you need to understand and need help and ask your teachers so that they can help you with the homework and make you understand the concepts where you have got stuck which will help you learn in a better manner.

V. Join homework groups

Schools these days come out with homework groups where everyone discusses and do their homework. This may help you in gaining knowledge and different perspectives about the topics on which you are doing your homework and will also help you in completing the homework.

VI. Relax

If you are stuck at something and are being unable to complete the homework don’t be scared and stress out. Relax and calm down and take the things that you are finding it difficult to your parents or your teachers the next day to learn it and understand it.
